Dr. Anderson Assuah is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Arts, Business, and Science, University College of the North, Manitoba. He is a former President of the Ghanaian Union of Manitoba.
As a community development enthusiast, he founded the Ghana Students Union of Manitoba when he was a Master’s student at the University of Manitoba and became its president for the first two years. His vision for establishing this group was to build a community of students, particularly international students, to assist and support each other, while pursuing academic excellence in a foreign land. This group is very vibrant and continues this vision.
He has also served in many leadership roles in his community and academic life. He is currently an Executive Member of the Alliance of Ghanaian-Canadian Associations.
